Our cluster heads have three diodes irradiating a semi spherical zone of 5cm diameter. The total power output for a 200mW diode cluster is 600mW and for a 400mW rated cluster the total power output is 1.2W. The wavelength of the laser light our infrared cluster outputs is 808nm.
Inside each of our cluster heads is a specially designed circuit board which uses high frequency switching to regulate the voltage being delivered to the diodes.
Other products on the market primarily use simple resistors to regulate the voltage, this can cause excess power dissipation through heat and puts extra demand on the battery leading to a shorter life and potential overheating issues in the laser probe.
By using our high frequency switching method we avoid these issues ensuring our heads never overheat and our units deliver exceptional battery life.
Our cluster handles have gone through countless design iterations to ensure the perfect ergonomics and robustness. We use a combination of extra tough resin SLA printing and FDM filament printing to create our handles.
The diode housings are capped by a clear acrylic disc which prevents dust and muck from dirtying the lenses.
The handles have a mini XLR connector in the end to allow connection of the coiled cable.
Infrared laser light has proven benefits for treatment of deeper lying conditions including: back pain, arthritis, bursitis, blunt trauma, muscle strain, carpal tunnel syndrome, neck pain, back pain, diabetic neuropathy, rheumatoid arthritis, temporomandibular joint pain (TMJ), tendonitis, wounds, sciatica and more.
For more superficial ailments such as skin conditions and scarring visible red light may be more appropriate.
